This policy outlines the terms for online orders and exhibition purchases. Customers are advised to read these guidelines carefully before placing an order as by placing an order, you agree to our Return, Exchange & Refund Policy.
FOR ONLINE ORDERS
RETURNS & EXCHANGE
- Returns can be requested within 5 days from the date of delivery.
- Product must be unused, and all tags must be intact.
- Exchanges are allowed only for size issues.
- We accept returns only in case of size-related fit issues.
If you face a size issue, we will exchange the product for the correct size, subject to availability. - If the requested size or the same product is not available, the product amount will be credited to your Store Credit Wallet, No cash refunds are provided by FAMEROOTS under any circumstances.
MISSING ITEMS
- Customers must inform us within 48 hours of delivery if any item is missing.
- An unboxing video and clear images of received items are mandatory to process the claim.
DAMAGED PRODUCT
- Notify us within 24 hours of delivery if the product received is damaged.
- Damage does not include issues related to style, print, or design choice.
ALTERED PRODUCTS
- Products altered by the customer are not eligible for return or exchange.
CANCELLATION
- Orders can be cancelled before dispatch only.
- After dispatch, the courier will attempt delivery three times; undelivered merchandise returns to our warehouse.
- Refunds/store credit for prepaid orders take up to 15 working days.
- A shipping fee of ₹199 (paid by the customer during order placement) will be deducted from the refund/store credit.
SHIPPING COSTS FOR SIZE EXCHANGES
- First size exchange: Shipping is free (covered by Fame Roots).
- Subsequent exchanges: Customer must pay ₹200 (reverse pickup + delivery charges).
- Multiple exchanges refer to multiple size exchange requests even within the same order.
FACE MASKS
- Due to hygiene reasons, face masks are non-returnable and non-exchangeable.
FAILED QUALITY CHECK ON RETURN
- If a returned product fails our internal quality inspection, the return/exchange will be denied.
- Customer must pay courier charges to receive the same product back, or they may self-pick it from our facility.
INCORRECT PRODUCT SENT BY CUSTOMER
- Fame Roots is not responsible for incorrect items returned by the customer.
- Customer must inform us within 48 hours to reclaim it.
- To have the product shipped back, delivery charges apply or customer may pick it up from our facility.
- The correct product must be sent to us at the customer's own expense.
- If a second reverse pickup is requested, shipping will be charged twice.
FOR EXHIBITIONS
REFUNDS
- No refunds for purchases made at exhibitions.
KURTAS / BOTTOMS / TOPS / DUPATTAS / ACCESSORIES
- Returns & exchanges for size/style/damage issues can be done only during the exhibition event where the product was purchased.
- Product must be unused with tags intact.
DAMAGED MERCHANDISE
- Damaged merchandise must be reported within 24 hours of purchase.
- Damage does not include issues relating to design or style.
ALTERED MERCHANDISE
- Merchandise altered by the customer is not eligible for exchange.
REVERSE PICKUP – SHIPPING COSTS
- If pickup or delivery is required, shipping charges must be paid by the customer.
FAILED QUALITY CHECK ON RETURN
- If the product fails our quality check, the request will be denied.
- Courier charges apply to receive the product back or customer may self-collect.
INCORRECT PRODUCT SENT BY CUSTOMER
- Fame Roots is not liable for wrong items returned.
- Customers must notify us within 48 hours to reclaim the incorrect product.
- Delivery charges apply for shipping the product back.
- If a second reverse pickup is requested, charges will be deducted twice.
